Hello, Coffee… May 19, 2009

1. I’m not sure exactly how much coffee I drink each day. Most people can make a claim like, “I drink about 3 cups a day…” I’m thinking I’m at about 3 pots a day…

 

2. I twittered about waiting on a member of the Orlando Magic last week. One of my managers randomly saw it and spoke to me about it. No more twittering about guests at the restaurant…

 

3. However, he knows nothing of this blog! hahaha… I can’t put names but I also may have waited on a VERY high political mumbler last night. AND there were two of Hollywood’s funny men in the restaurant as well. No names. But, one is very small. Petite almost. Haha.

 

4. Accountant taught me how to drive standard the other night. We spent about 1/2 an hour doing it. I’m supposed to know enough now to help with our drive to NC this week for Memorial Day Weekend. He has far more faith in my driving abilities than I do. This could be the end of us… hahaha.

 

5. Speaking of NC – first vacation in like 10 years!! I’m so excited!! I got some new bikinis from VS and I can’t wait!! I think in between shifts today I will go tanning. Same with tomorrow. Just to get a small base. And so I don’t blind anyone with my whiteness. I would like Accountant to do the same, but he won’t. I’ll need to purchase a special set of sunglasses, like the kind you wear when there’s an eclipse… Don’t look directly at it!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAH!!!!!! hahahha… poor kid.

 

6. OK – got to head to work. Did you know that my 2 year anniversary from graduating law school was last week… and I’m still a waitress. AWESOME!!!!

Good Morning! May 14, 2009

1. I usually hate mornings… like with the firey passion of hell… but somehow I seem to be acclimating to being up earlier than normal when I have to work a day shift. I think it probably helps to know that I’m going to make money… yeah that’s it.

 

2. Like most other human adults (and some dogs I’ve heard about …. ahem… Filthy), I NEED coffee in the morning. Unlike most other adults, I put hot cocoa mix in mine. I find it yummy. Accountant finds it strange and just kind of stares at me with his big blue eyes and blinks in a confused manner. I don’t know why this throws him off so much but it’s funny to see.

 

3. Often I like to “snooze” for a bit longer than I’ve set my alarm for. I’ll set it real early with the hopes of getting a ton done. When it goes off in the morning, I get out of bed, shut it off and then reset it for an hour later. Accountant is in LOVE with his snooze button. LOVE. In fact, I can’t wait for the day when it just doesn’t work anymore. He uses his blackberry as his alarm and will snooze 15 times. 15!!! It’s ridiculously annoying. I’ve gotten to the point where when it goes off and he resets it, I give him a big shove… haha. Just for waking me up again. Ha!

 

4. The new roommate thing seems to be working fine. The best part? We barely see each other. When I get up in the morning, it’s after she’s already left and I have the place to myself. So…… I can get ready on my own schedule without fighting for the shower… or having to put clothes on for a while. This makes me happy.

 

5. The other morning I was all exhilarated and had tons of energy because we finally got a washer and dryer installed. With that I decided to be really productive and I got lots done. This includes getting Mrs. Gump’s wedding shower gift. I cannot wait for her to open it up on Sunday. I’m so excited…. I know you’re reading this little girl… get excited! Ha. I think I did good. I’m sure she’ll report here after the shower… hahaha.

 

6. Sadly, I must finish this and go to work now… but, I’m awake and ready for a big day! Maybe I’ll update more in the mornings since it allows me to drink my coffee and slowly wake up. Stay tuned!

Not too much going on… but for the sake of writing… May 5, 2009

Ah the lovely days of work and really nothing else…

 

1. Part of why I don’t write is because there’s not too much to write about. I work. A LOT. And, I’m tired… oh so very tired.

 

2. I’m planning a big surprise party for Accountant’s birthday and I’ve gotten the green light from his best friend, a frat brother and his sisters. yay!!

 

3. For some reason I decided to stop in the jewelry store today and take a peek at rings. I know, I know… and no, I’m not necessarily hedging bets on Accountant and I etc… but I like to look… and I got sized. In case Accountant decides to contact any of you, I’m a size 4. (Yes, ring finger… itty bitty I know)

 

4. I had a dream last night that I was preggers and about to go into labor. I told Accountant this morning and he looked a little sick at the idea. Since it was morning and I was awake far earlier than I wanted, I may have snapped at him. Made a comment about how the dream was set like 3 years from now and if me being pregnant 3 years from now would be a problem then we’re going to have issues. Really? Come on Snarky…. Must drink coffee before prego talk…

 

5. Mrs. Gump’s wedding shower is next week! Yay!!! Let the festivities begin!!
