1. Things are crazy still. Here’s the run down…
2. I was training like crazy at the new Restaurant. AND still working at the old one. That all ended like a week or so ago. But, I’ve also just been working a lot… and been sick… and trying to get ready for new roommate to move in…
3. Which she did yesterday. It’s definitely hard having someone new in my space but she’s nice enough. I think we’ll be fine as roomies. I’m just trying to acclimate and it’s hard when I have SO many changes happening at the same time…
4. I also completely offended a woman at one of my FIRST tables alone on a Saturday night and she wrote a NASTY letter to the GM and owner. Seriously. My second day alone at the restaurant. My first Saturday night. COMPLETELY INNOCENT COMMENT after her husband made a crude comment. And she was sooo offended. Seriously? Seriously. How do I manage that? I think it’s a record, in fact. Jesus… I need a real lawyer job ASAP.
5. And, of course, there’s news on the Unofficial front… why wouldn’t there be? He texted me the other night when I was at work and he happened to be at a bar two doors away. So I met him and his friend for a few cocktails…. more details to follow at some point but quick story is we ended up in a cab going back to his place… making out… at his place he gets all romantical with a bottle of wine and cheeses etc… and then I start crying. Before anything more can happen the tears start and we both know it can’t happen because I’m not that kind of girl. I could never hurt Accountant like that. When I get home I am a mess and I call Accountant and tell him I was with Unofficial for drinks and that I need to see him. He’s so good to me. It’s amazing how dramatic I get when it has to do with Unofficial. Stupid Stupid girl.
6. I single handedly almost demolished the only healthy relationship I’ve ever had. All for someone who cares about me “an immeasureable amount” but can’t be with just me? No. Lesson SOOOO learned.
7. Did I tell you Accountant signed us up for the Marine Corps Marathon in October? Oh yes. Let’s get the training started!!!
8….. And that’s it for now. Real quick – I am happy but busy and tired. I’m still getting over this damn cold but almost over it I think. Hopefully my schedule becomes somewhat normal soon. Then I’ll update more. I’m going to try and make it a nightly habit as I’m winding down from work.
